Unique Homes Magazine Debbi and Adam Feb 2016

You never know what will transpire when you take an interview. It was a pleasant surprise. It caught me off guard when our publicist, Liz Kelly shared it with me. My first words, right after I read the first paragraph were, “WOW! Whomever wrote that could not be more dead on!” Most of the things I do seem to be, exactly as she wrote, “Accidentally, With Purpose.” I love that!

I went on to read the article and my heart sank as I read the second paragraph detailing briefly our connection to HIGHLAND PARTNERS. Both Adam and I recall quite vividly not only did we share Heidi’s name but spelled it out. Heidi

M A R C H E S O T T I our Partner. As stated on my website:

  • Note: Debbi and Adam would like to clarify that HIGHLAND PARTNERS is a partnership created, built and developed since inception with Heidi Marchesotti. As in all editorial features the person or persons being written about are not allowed the privilege to review or approve what is written. (Similar articles have been written over the years leaving one or two of the partners out. I am sure it is, or was, never intentional.) With that said, Debbi and Adam would still like emphasize the partnership they have with their amazing partner, Heidi Marchesotti who is the Managing Partner.  (Adam Betta, Managing Broker, Debbi DiMaggio, Marketing Director, and Mindy Sun, Silent Partner. ) Learn More about HIGHLAND PARTNERS here.

Adam and I are very grateful for the published article and look forward to serving more clients, meeting new people, while traveling and experiencing new things.

Accidentally, With Purpose.

With Gratitude,

Partner with a Local Realtor for Best Results

Be sure to partner with a Realtor who is looking out for your best interests. Your Realtor should be a specialist in the area you are seeking to sell or buy residential real estate. An honest agent, not a greedy one just seeking out a big commission will want the best for their client by referring a buyer or seller to another Realtor who knows the ins and the outs and the customs and the idiosyncrasies of that particular market, as well as the facts, that may or may not be public information. Likewise, a seller must realize that greed is not in their own best interest either. A seller hoping to transact a real estate deal on their own in order to forgo paying a real estate fee to a real estate professional will more often than not lose out.

Pictured above fellow colleagues and friends who specialize in various regions throughout California. If you are seeking to buy or sell outside of the East Bay please ask for a referral and I will be sure to connect you with a professional both compatible and one with the expertise in the market you are considering.

The Facts | Before and After images of one of our Piedmont Listings

The Property / The Project | 110 Maxwelton Road

Each home we list has its own set of issues we must address prior to market. Upon listing a home Adam and I walk through the entire home with our client detailing all the items we feel should be addressed. We do not ask the seller to commit to our long list of changes, repairs or updates at this time. However, our next step is to book inspections so we can gather information about the property and its condition; as well as to obtain bids on work we hope the seller will agree to implement. Here is a quick list of inspections we always obtain: Roof, Electrical, Furnace, Water Heater, Sewer Lateral, Termite, Foundation, Fireplace/Chimney as well as to obtain a complete Home Inspection. Highland Partners // Ahead of the Curve

Companies like Facebook are moving towards an open office environment in order to encourage a more collaborative workplace.

In 2010, Highland Partners opened their Piedmont office with just that in mind. The Partners ( Heidi Marchesotti, Adam Betta, Mindy Sun and Debbi DiMaggio ) wanted to create an environment where there were no divisions between the Partners and their agents and believed the layout would allow everyone to learn from one another while creating a more positive office environment.
