Debbi DiMaggio

Remembering those we have lost.

I take after my grandma, my dads mother, Stella DiMaggio, who passed away much too young.

I think of Grandma Stella DiMaggio, often.

My book, Contained Beauty, Photographs, Reflections and Swimming Pools was dedicated to her. She was a motivating force, helping me to complete it.

She was and still is, my guiding light and inspiration.

“in memory of my grandmother, stella dimaggio, my guiding light who gave me my persistence, determination and energetic drive to never give up.”

May you too, have your own guiding light.

I know the holiday season can be especially difficult for those who have lost family and friends. May you recall and celebrate the many fond memories you have shared and may that give you strength and peace to get through while enjoying those who are still with you today.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

XOXO!

Happy Holidays Grandma 🙂 I miss you! And Grandpa too.

The photo at the top of the page is of my dad, Vince DiMaggio and I with our cousin Rosemarie DiMaggio who was also very close to my Grandma.
